Votive Dance is pleased to bring their beloved murder mystery jazz dance show WHODUNIT? to Harbourfront Theatre in April 2024!

WHODUNIT? weaves together dance, music & storytelling, for an accessible, fun dance show, suitable for all ages.

The dancers & musicians are gearing up for their big performance when suddenly, one of the performers disappears! They do their best to continue with the show as planned, but it becomes clear they need to turn their attention to where the performer has gone. But who to suspect…the dancers? the musicians? the audience?

Featuring live jazz music, WHODUNIT? celebrates jazz dance and music at the forefront, with a fun twist on a classic murder mystery.

With choreography by Kathleen Doherty, and original jazz music composed by Andrew Jackson.

Featuring-
Dancers: Isaac Abriel, Marrin Jessome, Michele King, Stephanie Mitro, Liliona Quarmyne & guest performer MacKenzie Greenwell (tap dance)
Musicians: Keith Doiron (upright bass), Andrew Jackson (trombone), Caito MacDonald (drums), Sam Wilson (guitar)

Audience praise:

“The best dance show I’ve seen in years”

“Every detail was incredible: the story, the choreography, the music, the lights”

“I was engaged and entertained the entire time”

“I didn’t want the show to end!”

“Diverse, passionate, totally engaging!”
