Yes, you can buy a gift voucher online or by visiting the box office. You can buy one for yourself or as a gift for someone else.
To buy online, you simply enter the value you want for your gift voucher, the date you would like it sent, the recipient’s name and email address, and the sender’s name. The Gift Voucher email will include a special gift voucher code which is then redeemed online or at our Box Office. The value of the Gift Voucher never expires.

If you’re on a mobile phone, you can log in by clicking the menu button at the top of our website, and then clicking the “Account” button above the menu items.
Having trouble logging into your account? Try resetting your password through the “forgot password” portal or contact us at email@example.com so we can confirm the email associated with your account and help you reset your password.
If you have theatre credit, you can use it to purchase tickets or gift certificates online. During the check-out process (beneath the box that lets you apply a gift voucher code to your purchase), you’ll see how much theatre credit is on your account and to check a box to apply the credit to your purchase. It’s that easy!

Harbourfront Theatre will contact you by email (or by phone if no email is associated with your account) to let you know that the event has been cancelled and what your refund options are.
You have three options for refunding your tickets: You can refund to theatre credit, the original method of payment, or donate a portion or the full value of your tickets in exchange for a charitable tax receipt (please note: tax receipts can be issued for donations of $20 and over).
If you can’t find a cancellation email in your inbox, please reach out to us at (902) 888-2500 or firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange your refund.
Harbourfront Theatre will contact you by email to let you know that the event has been postponed and what the new date is. Your original ticket(s) will be honoured and valid for the event’s new date.
If you didn’t get the email notification(s) about changes to an event you have tickets for, please contact us at (902) 888-2500 or email@example.com so we can make sure we have your correct contact information on file and ensure you don’t miss any future notifications about your tickets.
Yes, we will! We will send you a reminder email a month before the performance date reminding you about your tickets, the show date & time, and any other details you may need to know for attending the show. We will also send you the standard pre-show reminder a day before the performance date.
If you are unable to attend the new date or if your event has been cancelled, you can arrange one of three options to return your ticket(s):
Receive a theatre credit for the value of your ticket(s) that can be used for future Harbourfront events. This keeps your investment at the theatre, and in doing so greatly helps us as a charitable, non-profit arts organization. We really appreciate you considering this option.
Refund to the original method of payment for the value of your ticket(s). Or you can also choose to donate a portion of the value of your tickets AND receive a refund for the remaining value.
Donate some or all of the value of your ticket(s). Charitable tax receipts are issued for donations of $20 or more. For you to consider this option means a lot to us, and your ticket donation will help us immensely as a charitable, non-profit arts organization.
Taking theatre credit or donating any amount of your tickets instead of requesting a full refund is always a big help towards sustaining us and our future ability to operate. For charitable, non-profits organizations like us, every dollar makes a big difference! We can’t keep running without the help of generous individuals like you.
Refunds to Theatre Credit: You will receive the credit to your account upon Box Office returning your tickets. Anyone can get theatre credit for the full value of their tickets (less service fees) no matter what payment method they used to purchase.
Refunds to Debit/Cash: We will provide refunds for debit and cash purchases in cash or cheque due to our ticketing system requirements. We ask that you contact us directly to confirm your refund method. Refunds to Credit Card: We can refund the credit card used to purchase your tickets right away. Please Note: It may take a few days for the refund to be reflected on your credit card account.
If you no longer have the credit card originally used to purchase your tickets, please contact us directly to confirm if you would like to process the refund to a new card over the phone, or if you would prefer to come in person to provide card information. Contact box office at (902) 888-2500.
