Volunteer Opportunities

The Harbourfront Theatre is proud and very fortunate to
boast a current membership of over 70 enthusiastic and
dedicated volunteers, who serve in numerous capacities
and contribute countless hours toward the success and
longevity of the theatre.
Established in 1997, the Harbourfront Theatre
Volunteer Company's mission is to serve as a
supporting body to the Harbourfront Theatre through
active participation in the needed areas of the Theatre. It's
objectives are:
Whatever your skill sets and interests are, if you have some spare time and a volunteer spirit, we need you!
The time you commit is up to you, and training is provided in your chosen area prior to your first shift.
Harbourfront Theatre Volunteer Company
1. To maintain the volunteer company in such a way as it
will offer valuable service and support to the Harbourfront
Theatre and its users.
2. To promote volunteer efforts as an example of community pride felt for the Harbourfront Theatre.
3. To allow volunteers to execute tasks by providing them with an environment of comfort, social interaction and learning opportunities.
4. To encourage volunteers to feel ownership of the Harbourfront Theatre because of their contribution to the facility.

To Become a Harbourfront Theatre Volunteer:
CLICK HERE to download a membership form (PDF) that you
can print, fill out and return to us. Volunteer membership
forms are also available at the Harbourfront Theatre box
office and administration office, 124 Harbour Drive,
Summerside. Once your application is processed, a theatre
representative will be in touch with you to set up a training
session. After that, all Harbourfront Theatre volunteers are
re-certified once per year.
